Stillwater , Okla. – Beginning on February 4, 2005, Hall of Fame Avenue from Hester to Knoblock will be closed until September 2006. The closing of Hall of Fame affects access to commuter student parking Lots 9 and 96, which are on the north side of Hall of Fame. In addition commuter student Lot 8, which is at the northwest corner of Boone Pickens Stadium, will be closed.

Access to Lot 9 which is designated as a Silver Commuter parking lot will remain at the current three driveway locations on Washington , Hall of Fame and North Hester . Lot 96 which provides parking for the RH, Residence Halls and Silver Commuter permit designations will not be accessible from Hall of Fame. Parking Services is placing A-frame detour signs around these lots to point students toward the open entrance.

To off-set the loss of parking from Lot 8 for Green Zone commuter parking permits holders, Lot 6 south of Boone Pickens Stadium will be reopened concurrent with the closing of Lot 8 and Hall of Fame Avenue . The newly opened portion of Lot 6 had been closed for the past two years due to construction of Boone Pickens Stadium.
