Stillwater , Okla. – On Wednesday, March 23, Stillwater Mayor Bud Lacy will participate in The Bus' new campaign, “You Never Know Who You'll Meet on The Bus.” Mayor Lacy will ride the Scarlet Route from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on March 23.

Mayor Lacy will be the second featured community leader to participate in the campaign. Other University and community leaders who will be featured as celebrity riders include OSU President David Schmidly, City Commissioner Tom Williams, and City Commissioner Tom Dugger.

“We appreciate the Mayor's interest in using The Bus as a way of meeting with our passengers,” said Hugh E. Kierig, Department of Parking and Transit Services manager. “It is a wonderful opportunity for Stillwater elected officials to meet the citizens and understand their issues.”

The first celebrity riders were SGA President Joe St. John and City Commissioner Ruth Ann Kennedy. .
