Stillwater , Okla. – Effective Monday, January 24, two community transit routes will have permanent changes that will affect the location of two bus stops. These changes are being made at the request of the property management companies that received the service and to increase the efficiency and timeliness of The Bus on these routes.

The first change will affect the Gray route bus stop near The Lift Apartments. The Bus will no longer travel east on Knotts to the bus stop. Instead, The Bus will stop on Perkins Road at Knotts to pick up and discharge passengers. This change affects both inbound and outbound buses.

The second change will affect the Purple route bus stop near Wicklow Apartments. The Bus will no longer travel south on Wicklow Street to pick up passengers in the Wicklow Apartments. Passengers should now wait for The Bus at 6th Street and Wicklow. This change affects only the inbound portion of the route. There will be no stop on the north side of 6 th Street at Wicklow for the outbound part of the route.

Permanent bus stop signs will be placed at the new bus stop locations as soon as possible. Until the permanent signs are in place, passengers at these stops should be aware of these changes and use the temporary signs.
